This Parador fronts onto the beach of Mojacar, with one of the best micro climates in Spain. This Parador is named after the Kings of Spain who spent hundreds of years fighting the Moor invaders. This war was helped by the church to bring back the country under Christian rule after many years of Muslim control..
Mojacar can be reached on foot by the energetic. It is a town of white houses perched on rocky outcrops. The streets are small and narrow reminding of days gone by. Places to visit include The Watch Towers of Perulico, the Macenas Castle, the Santa Maria fortified church, the Main Gate of the city, and the ”Casa Torero” (Tower House).
El Parador se encuentra en la Playa de Mojácar, a 1,5 km. de la ciudad, a 5 km. de Garrucha, a 16 de Vera y a 18 km. de la salida de la Autovía.
