Descripcion del establecimiento: Este moderno refugio de montaña situado en las estribaciones de los Picos de Europa y abierto al fértil valle de Liébana, muestra la naturaleza en total libertad. Está rodeado por la verticalidad de los Picos de Europa, bosques y laderas, en una comarca que se disgrega en modestos caseríos. El edificio se sitúa junto a la base del teleférico que sube al mirador de Áliva, en un privilegiado punto de encuentro para los amantes de las actividades en contacto con la naturaleza. El clásico estilo de montaña y un cálido mobiliario de madera y cuero recrean ese calor de hogar tan apreciado, al que se añaden los platos caseros de la cocina tradicional cántabra, como el cocido lebaniego o el solomillo al queso de Tresviso. English Description: This modern mountain refuge located in the foothills of the Picos de Europa and opening onto the fertile Liébana valley, shows nature in total freedom. It is surrounded by the verticality of the Picos de Europa, woods and hillsides, in a region which is split into modest hamlets. The building is located at the bottom of the cable car which goes up to the Áliva viewpoint, at a privileged meeting point for lovers of outdoor activities. The classical mountain style and the warm wood and leather furniture recreate the so appreciated home warmth, to which are added the home-made dishes of the traditional cooking of Cantabria, such as "cocido lebaniego" (stew) or "solomillo al queso de Tresviso" (sirloin with cheese). This Parador has fifty four twin bedded rooms, eighteen rooms with a double bed and six single rooms. All the rooms have a private bathroom, a telephone, television with TV canal plus and satellite together with a mini bar. There is, air conditioning and the hotel has a restaurant and bar. Facilities are available to hold small conferences.
