Junto a la catedral románica de La Seu D'Urgell se alza el Parador, en un entorno monumental abierto también a la naturaleza que atrae a numerosos excursionistas, amantes de la montaña e infinidad de turistas que se acercan al paraíso andorrano. Aquí se celebran, en verano, los Campeonatos de Piragüismo del río Segre, conocidos a nivel mundial. En el interior destaca el antiguo claustro renacentista, que presenta un aspecto tropical por la profusión de hiedras, plantas colgantes y galerías ajardinadas, y una agradable piscina cubierta. El resto de las estancias disfruta de elegancia, luminosidad y confort, que se aprecian asimismo en su restaurante, auténtico escaparate de la cocina leridana: la ensalada tibia con degustación de pato y queso, los cargolls a la llauna y trinxat de l'alt Urgell son una muestra de su rica variedad gastronómica.

This Parador rises up next to the Romanesque cathedral of La Seu d'Urgell, in a monumental setting also open to nature, which attracts numerous hikers, lovers of mountains and no end of tourists making their way to the Andorran paradise. The world-famous Parc Olimpic del Segre Canoeing Championships are held on the river Segre here during the summer. In the interior, the former renaissance cloister stands out, presenting a tropical appearance thanks to the profusion of ivy, hanging plants and landscaped galleries, and a pleasant indoor swimming pool. The rest of the common rooms display elegance, luminosity and comfort. The Parador restaurant offers a sampling of the most select dishes of the region; its cuisine is based on natural, seasonal products. The Parador has sixty six twin bedded rooms, six rooms with a double bed, six single rooms, and a suite. All the rooms have a private bathroom and also a telephone, satellite television, safe and a mini bar. There is air conditioning, a restaurant, a bar and facilities are available for business meetings. There is also a heated indoor swimming pool.
